The loose ring cheek has greater movement than a fixed cheek which can discourage fixing and leaning. The loose brass alloy discs in the centre of the bit can help to soothe a fussy tongued horse.

This is a traditional French link with a flat plate. It has small loose rings making it perfect for horses with small heads and those who require more movement in the bit.

This bit has small rings which will look more in proportion on a smaller head. The curved mouthpiece allows plenty of room for horses with larger tongues.
