TopChop Sport is a natural product made from a mixture of British meadow grass species and high-temperature dried British alfalfa, dressed with a light coating of linseed oil. TopChop Sport contains no added molasses or any other sugar coating.

The alfalfa used to make Alfalfa-mazing is cut fresh in the field and then gathered in to be dried very quickly at high temperature in what is, effectively, a huge tumble-drier. It’s then bagged immediately on site at our farm. This process ensures the naturally occurring nutrients are locked in, giving the feed a long and practical shelf life of two years, meaning you can feed it all year round and dip in and out of a bag as your horse or pony’s requirements change throughout the year. Saracen MOLASSED CHAFF is produced to a traditional recipe and contains 22% fibre which provides essential roughage for any equine diet. It is a highly palatable dust-free product that can be mixed with any form of concentrate ration. The product is chopped longer to prevent feed bolting which can be a contributing factor in cases of colic. The longer chop has the added benefit of making the horse or pony chew its feed for longer. Digestion starts in the mouth and the horse will only produce saliva when it eats. Saliva helps lubricate the feed and is also an aid to digestion. Therefore, the more the animal chews its feed, the more effective digestion and utilization of the feed will be.

VETERAN MIX is a high quality, highly digestible mix designed specifically for the needs of the older horse or pony. It is based on "Super-Fibre" sources which provide a similar level of calories to that of cereals but reduce the reliance on cereals in the diet helping to keep starch levels low. The combination of oil and digestible fibre provides slow-release energy helping to avoid the fizz that can be associated with cereal-based diets.
