A specific, whole cereal free diet for donkeys, designed to be low in energy and protein but high in fibre. The ration is fully fortified to optimise body condition and health without providing excessive nutrients that can be detrimental to donkeys.

Saracen MOLASSED CHAFF is produced to a traditional recipe and contains 22% fibre which provides essential roughage for any equine diet. It is a highly palatable dust-free product that can be mixed with any form of concentrate ration. The product is chopped longer to prevent feed bolting which can be a contributing factor in cases of colic. The longer chop has the added benefit of making the horse or pony chew its feed for longer. Digestion starts in the mouth and the horse will only produce saliva when it eats. Saliva helps lubricate the feed and is also an aid to digestion. Therefore, the more the animal chews its feed, the more effective digestion and utilization of the feed will be.

RE-COVERY Mash™ supports optimum rehydration and recovery post training, travelling and competing. The high fibre, banana flavoured mash is convenient to feed in all situations to help support and restore water intake in the fussiest of eaters and drinkers.

STAMM 30® is a highly concentrated source of essential proteins, vitamins, and minerals specifically designed to support breeding and youngstock. STAMM 30® is whole cereal free, low in starch and sugar, and will produce a low glycaemic response post feeding. This makes it suitable for fast growing foals and horses with more excitable temperaments. STAMM 30® can be fed alongside a forage only diet or alongside the existing ration to support nutrient intake.

Based on "Super-Fibre" ingredients, they provide slow-release energy for exercise, as well as for weight maintenance.

VETERAN MIX is a high quality, highly digestible mix designed specifically for the needs of the older horse or pony. It is based on "Super-Fibre" sources which provide a similar level of calories to that of cereals but reduce the reliance on cereals in the diet helping to keep starch levels low. The combination of oil and digestible fibre provides slow-release energy helping to avoid the fizz that can be associated with cereal-based diets.

Level-Grow™ uses carefully selected ingredients like alfalfa, soya hulls and sugar beet (‘super-fibres’) that produce only a minimal glycemic response following digestion. By using this breakthrough in research, high levels of soluble carbohydrates have been replaced by fats and ‘super-fibres’ as alternative energy sources, and consequently, post weaning, Level-Grow™ would be the sole source of concentrate feed given to weanlings to carry them through to their yearling year until growth rates start to level off.
