Our Wood Shavings for horses are sustainably sourced from well managed Scandinavian forests and then produced at our site in St Leonards on sea in East Sussex. Megazorb 85 L Suitable for horses, poultry, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and most small rodents. MEGAZORB is a highly absorbent horse bedding that is manufactured from virgin wood pulp, a by-product of the paper making industry. Biodegradable and super absorbent, this product will drastically reduce the time and cost of mucking out and the size of the muck heap. Plus it’s easy on the environment too. The wood pulp is high temperature dried to kill any mould or spores then dust extracted twice, making it the ideal choice for horses with respiratory problems.

Timothy HorseHage, as its name implies, is made from timothy grass which is very similar to the famous Kentucky bluegrass of America. This grass is higher in fibre and lower in protein than many other grasses, making Timothy HorseHage particularly suitable for leisure horses and ponies, native ponies, veterans and horses and ponies that are resting, convalescing or prone to laminitis. Timothy has a completely different ‘nose’ to ryegrass, from which Ryegrass and High Fibre HorseHage are made. It has a very similar nutrient analysis to High Fibre HorseHage and is highly palatable, making it ideal for fussy feeders or simply to add variety to the diets of those already being fed HorseHage.

Burlybed Original is made from 100% Miscanthus. Burlybed Original is quick and easy to muck out with little wastage and is quick to rot down on the muck heap, quicker than straw and shavings. In an average 12’x12’ stable we recommend using 5 to 8 bales to set up a deep bed. Top up when necessary, often as little as half a bale per week.

Brand new in the Burlybed range is Burlybed Soft Extra. Made from 100% chopped wheat straw with the added extra benefit of naturally antiseptic eucalyptus and soothing aloe vera. In an average 12’x12’ stable we recommend using 4 – 6 bales to set up a bed. Top up when necessary.

The unique fermentation process that the grass undergoes in the production of High Fibre HorseHage keeps the sugar and starch levels considerably lower than in other forages. High Fibre HorseHage also provides an excellent fibre source for competition horses being fed high levels of concentrates.

Supreme bales are made entirely from kiln dried softwood timber, this guarantees a naturally warm, soft and comfortable bed with a superb fresh odour. Snowflake Supreme woodshavings are highly absorbent but remain dry on top as any wet drains away from the surface which keeps your horse nice and dry.
