Burlybed Original is made from 100% Miscanthus. Burlybed Original is quick and easy to muck out with little wastage and is quick to rot down on the muck heap, quicker than straw and shavings. In an average 12’x12’ stable we recommend using 5 to 8 bales to set up a deep bed. Top up when necessary, often as little as half a bale per week.

Quick Grow Lamb pellets are available in loose bulk or 20kg bags. Heygates Quick Grow can be used as a creep feed or fed ad lib to finish lambs at 12 to 14 weeks of age. If fed ad lib then a typical lamb will consume about 40kg of feed if still on the ewe or 70 to 80kg if weaned.
Mixed Corn is an appetising blend of English wheat and cut maize which can be fed to all kinds of poultry, waterfowl and bantams to complement a fully balanced diet of pellets or mash. Ideally fed as a treat in the afternoon, helping maintain body temperature which is particularly beneficial during the winter months. Can be scattered on the floor of the pen to help satisfy the birds' instinct to scratch and peck. Ideally fed as a treat in the afternoon.
High Quality Rubber Stable Matting available in heavy duty or standard thickness. Made from regenerated rubber with a high profile bubble pattern one side and a broad ribbed fluted pattern on the other side, these economical mats provide added cushioning support for horses legs and hooves and also other animals with hooves who are standing inside for periods of time. They are also great for providing insullation from cold, concrete floors. Using rubber matting inside a horses stable is very economical as it means that you don't need to use so much bedding. The mats are reversible for extended life and are extremley easy to clean making them a hygienic way to stable animals. Standard mats measure 6 x 4ft and are 8mm in thickness. Heavy duty mats measure 6 x 4ft and are 11mm in thickness.
19% PROTEIN 5% FIBRE A grower/finisher ration formulated to maintain good growth rates from 10 or 11 weeks of age right through to finish. It is recommended that the feeding rate is restricted to about 2kg up to 15 weeks of age (approx 65kg liveweight) or 2.5kg for older pigs. This will reduce the risk of the pig laying down too much fat.
