As the name suggests, Bloodworm Active Mix is a highly attractive groundbait which becomes incredibly active once submersed in water. Although it is primarily designed for use with our Bloodworm range, it can be used on its own as a stand-alone bag or stick mix, or even fished in or around a feeder. Along with the base mix used within our Bloodworm boilies, we have added boosted levels of super soluble ingredients such as LT94 fishmeal, crustacean extracts, Robin Red, blood plasma as well as a few Bloodworm pellets. The unique blend of powders means the Active mix constantly releases particles upwards from your baited area. This helps catch the carp’s attention and entices them to investigate. We suggest dampening the Active Mix with Cloudy Bloodworm Liquid to bind it together and add even more potent attraction.

Often copied; never bettered! Our original Bloodworm range is heralded as the best of its kind and it still works just as well today as it did many years ago. Utilising only the finest ingredients, results in a rich deep-red paste with a potent aroma. The paste of course compliments the Bloodworm range perfectly, with the addition of a natural preservative at the optimum level which prolongs the life of this bait for the angler’s convenience. Pulling power and attraction are optimised thanks to a specifically fast breakdown time which makes the Bloodworm Paste an ideal product to wrap around your hookbaits. Furthermore, it can be used in its own right, and, by using it with mesh you can make it last a bit longer. Not just limited to carp angling, Bloodworm Paste can be used for all manner of coarse species and is particularly useful on rivers for chub and barbel.

For these hookbaits to work perfectly, the coating itself contains an element of buoyancy to help maintain a perfect presentation throughout the breakdown process. As the super-soluble coating breaks down, it slowly settles into a halo of attraction on the lakebed surrounding the wafter at the inner core.
