Designed to replicate Manilla Active Boilies, these Manilla Active Wafters are made using a perfectly balanced wafter mix, with a highly soluble, Active paste wrap. For these hookbaits to work perfectly, the coating itself contains an element of buoyancy to help maintain a perfect presentation throughout the breakdown process. As the super-soluble coating breaks down, it slowly settles into a halo of attraction on the lakebed surrounding the wafter at the inner core. Manilla Active hookbaits are specifically designed to work all year round and can release their coating with ease, even in the depths of winter. They are formulated to negate the weight of the hook and rig, a sure-fire way of fooling even the wariest of carp.

As an added bonus, each dumbell is encapsulated in an extra soluble coating to maximise their leakage and attraction. Manilla Dumbells make an ideal alternative hookbait for fishing over the Manilla Active Mix and Manilla Pellets. As well as this, they are a superb choice for stalking and short sessions as the fast-acting coating maximises the instant attraction of these hookbaits.

As the name suggests, Bloodworm Active Mix is a highly attractive groundbait which becomes incredibly active once submersed in water. Although it is primarily designed for use with our Bloodworm range, it can be used on its own as a stand-alone bag or stick mix, or even fished in or around a feeder. Along with the base mix used within our Bloodworm boilies, we have added boosted levels of super soluble ingredients such as LT94 fishmeal, crustacean extracts, Robin Red, blood plasma as well as a few Bloodworm pellets. The unique blend of powders means the Active mix constantly releases particles upwards from your baited area. This helps catch the carp’s attention and entices them to investigate. We suggest dampening the Active Mix with Cloudy Bloodworm Liquid to bind it together and add even more potent attraction.

Furthermore, it can be used in its own right, and, by using it with mesh you can make it last a bit longer. The Krill Active was formed in 2014, as a means to increase the attraction of the humble boilie during Sticky’s annual jaunts to Lac de St Cassien. It was kept under wraps for many years, with batches being rolled in secret until it was perfected and released as a product in 2020. Following its incredible impact over standard baits, we are delighted to introduce the new Krill Active Shelf Life, which undergoes the same processes as the freezer version. Utilising special machinery, liquids are pumped into the bait, which is then combined with powders to create a durable, yet super soluble and attractive paste wrap. Once submerged in water, this outer coating breaks down slowly, releasing levels of attraction that far surpass that of a standard boilie. Thanks to our use of pure liquids, with high natural salt content, our Krill Active Shelf Life boilies are as close to fresh as we can possibly make them, with minimal preservatives, while still retaining their useability and ease of storage with no need to freeze. They are the biggest step forward in off-the-shelf bait for decades! Our Active baits have out fished standard boilies on every instance, due to their abundance of ammino acids which create a natural feeding trigger for carp!
