Sticky Baits

The Bait Spray range has been designed as an alternative attractor to supplement the liquids already in each range. Although we swear by our Liquid Food and Glug ranges, they aren’t ideal for soaking hookbaits for prolonged periods of time, as their dense nature can dramatically affect the buoyancy of a pop-up or wafter and render your rig mechanics useless. Bait Sprays are a much lighter alternative, that easily absorb into your chosen hookbait, yet still pack the same punch as their thicker counterparts – simply grab a tub of hookbaits and give them a couple of sprays to seriously boost their attraction!

Designed to replicate our outstanding Bloodworm boilies, these pop-ups have been designed to be very user friendly and buoyant. They are completely needle friendly, even in the smaller 12mm size, which are ideal for subtle presentations such as Zigs or Snowmen. The larger, 16mm hookbaits, are more suited to Chod or Hinge rigs as well as the ever-popular Ronnie/Spinner rig. The lighter colour of the pop-ups matches your freebies once they have been submersed in water. If you wish, you can add some extra attraction to your hookbaits by using our Bloodworm Bait Spray.

Made using a blend of liquid food products, paprika oleoresin and a particularly potent fish protein extract, this thick, sticky liquid really clings to any bait. Any hookbaits that are left to soak in the Bloodworm Glug are given a real boost of attraction, which releases constantly over a prolonged period of time. No synthetic chemicals or flavours are added, Bloodworm Glug is 100% natural and cannot be overused. Add freely to bottom baits or hookbaits to add a layer of super soluble attraction for carp to home in on. Bloodworm Glug is designed to be used with the items in the Bloodworm range, however it can be added to any mix you wish for an added boost of attraction.

The Krill Active was formed in 2014, as a means to increase the attraction of the humble boilie during Sticky’s annual jaunts to Lac de St Cassien. It was kept under wraps for many years, with batches being rolled in secret until it was perfected and released as a product in 2020. Following its incredible impact over standard baits, we are delighted to introduce the new Krill Active Shelf Life, which undergoes the same processes as the freezer version. Utilising special machinery, liquids are pumped into the bait, which is then combined with powders to create a durable, yet super soluble and attractive paste wrap. Once submerged in water, this outer coating breaks down slowly, releasing levels of attraction that far surpass that of a standard boilie. Thanks to our use of pure liquids, with high natural salt content, our Krill Active Shelf Life boilies are as close to fresh as we can possibly make them, with minimal preservatives, while still retaining their useability and ease of storage with no need to freeze. They are the biggest step forward in off-the-shelf bait for decades! Our Active baits have out fished standard boilies on every instance, due to their abundance of ammino acids which create a natural feeding trigger for carp!

Having one of densest concentrations of protein of any marine organism, with a low-fat content ensure this is one of the most nutritious and soluble liquids available. With a completely natural flavour profile, this liquid triggers an incredible feeding response for all fish species.
